We are grateful to our Wyoming state partners and sponsors for making this training possible, ensuring Wyoming communities have access to meaningful suicide prevention support. This session is being offered specifically for individuals who live or work in Wyoming, as part of a state-funded effort to support local communities. 
 
Join the 90 minute PROSPER Suicide Prevention Training – Earn 1.5 CE Credits

Fifty-eight percent of individuals who die by suicide have no mental health diagnosis—underscoring that suicide is often a social issue, not just a clinical one. Suicidal thoughts frequently arise from everyday stressors at home, work, school, or in relationships. Your everyday interactions can be powerful moments of connection that help prevent suicide. This training is open to everyone—including health professionals, educators, first responders, faith leaders, community organizers, and parents. Everyone can make a difference in suicide prevention! 

What You’ll Gain

A focused, 90-minute live training designed to enhance your:

Confidence in addressing suicide prevention

Comfort in supporting those experiencing suicidal thoughts

You will learn to:

  • Use Respectful Language – Communicate with compassion and without judgment

  • Empower and Support – Respond in ways that honor autonomy and values

  • Explore Ambivalence – Effectively engage around reasons for living

  • Co-Create Crisis Response Plans – A tool proven to reduce suicide attempts by up to 76%
