Fifty-eight percent of individuals who die by suicide have no mental health diagnosis, underscoring suicide primarily as a social issue. Suicidal thoughts often stem from everyday stressors at home or work. Supervisors, managers, and faith leaders play a critical role in recognizing and supporting those in distress.

Join us for this focused 90-minute live training designed to enhance your:

  • Confidence in addressing suicide prevention.

  • Competence in intervention strategies.

  • Comfort in supporting those experiencing suicidal thoughts.

You will learn to:

  1. Use Respectful Language: Adopt compassionate, non-judgmental communication.

  2. Empower and Support: Assist individuals in ways that honor their values and autonomy.

  3. Explore Ambivalence: Engage effectively about reasons for living.

  4. Collaboratively Develop Crisis Response Plans: Proven to reduce suicide attempts by up to 76%.

Additionally, you'll gain essential knowledge on effective postvention steps following a suicide.
