A Comprehensive Approach to Suicide Prevention in Schools.

Supporting prevention, intervention, and postvention through connection, communication, and coordinated care

Suicide is a Safety Issue For Our Youth

Suicide is a social issue that schools often experience first. Our programs draw on each community’s cultural values to build connected, informed, and empowered social norms that help students and families support themselves and one another.

How We Help Your Community Thrive

PROSPER supports prevention, intervention, and postvention across the entire school ecosystem. The program strengthens communication, improves early identification, and helps schools respond consistently and calmly during moments of distress. Students develop clear language, engage in peer support, and learn how to stay connected with loved ones and trusted adults. Parents learn to recognize warning signs, respond steadily, and support their children at home. Leaders receive guidance to coordinate districtwide crisis systems that protect every student. PROSPER strengthens connectedness, and connectedness reduces risk.

- 9th Grade Student

“I learned how to reach out to a trusted adult."
