Many community members, including professionals, never receive formal training in suicide risk management and intervention, leaving them uncertain about how to respond when someone is in crisis. PROSPER empowers communities and equips professionals with the latest, most effective tools to provide meaningful support during a suicidal crisis.

K.N.'s Story

Suicide affects all of us.

Just like bills and taxes, there aren't many people who haven't had some experience with it at least once. We need to talk about that more, and we need to listen when someone needs to have that conversation.

I've always been of the mind that actions are everything. I love raw, real, genuine people who understand that the human life is more valuable than money or fabricated deadlines. I will listen to your story when someone has made you feel like that's not the case. Because I've been there. I know what it's like to feel judged and worthless. I know that sometimes before offering a solution, it's helpful when your feelings are validated. Because how you feel about it matters.

You matter.

No matter where you've been or what decision brought you there. I'm glad you're still here, and I'd like to keep it that way. I want you to be able to love your life and really live it.

Life is a sacred, beautiful journey. With every step, we must keep breathing. What a privilege it is to still be breathing.

Community Support

Attributes

This campaign was built through community support, shared purpose, and the generosity of people who donated their time, creativity, and expertise to help bring these stories to life. It truly takes a village to change the conversation around suicide, and we are deeply grateful to the individuals and organizations who helped make this effort possible.
